About Ruffini (1951-)
Ruffini emigrated to the United States in 1978 after studying art throughout Europe - Italy, Greece, France and Spain. In 1983 Ruffini moved to California and his currently working from his home studio.

Ruffini's diverse studies view a contemporary abstracted figurative interaction with the utmost love of life with one another. His works are a true dynamic interpretation in his passion and emotion of human feelings. This portrait of life expresses a great impact on us in our travel and cultural experiences, a "style unique to the artist." The artist has an uncanny eye for color and composition in his technique and style and is able to create the aspect of true dimension giving the canvas life and vitality.
Ruffini is a very diversified artist. From time to time, Ruffini creates a series of contemporary abstracted landscape paintings. In addition to painting, Ruffini is also well known for his sculptures in different media of various size, shape and function. His latest work is a reflection of his autobiography which is, through his interpretation, applicable to all humans. He calls it "The Steps of Life."
